Our early morning walk Palm Cove to Clifton Beach…getting up with the sun is often a little difficult to do especially if bub has had an unsettled night. However it is an important routine that not only makes you feel good it assists in the elimination of the stress hormone Cortisol which is naturally at its highest in the morning and progressively reduces during the day allowing for a restful sleep at night.
Excess Cortisol will contribute to adrenal fatigue and excess weight or the ability to lose weight.
Working with the bodies natural circadian rhythm will also assist with balancing other hormones such as the sleep hormone Melatonin. The circadian rhythm is our bodies sleep / wake cycle.
