Body Analysis

Hair Analysis

A balanced diet should provide the necessary nutrition to maintain optimal health, however, modern farming techniques, fertilisers depleted soils and food processing reduces the mineral content of foods. Mineral deficiencies combine with an increase in environmental toxins, lifestyle stresses and food additives can contribute to health conditions such as cardiovascular disease, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, migraines, learning difficulties and hyperactivity in children. Hair analyses is a safe and non-invasive pathology test that measures the levels of 35 different nutrients and toxic minerals found in hair. A sample of clean hair is discretely cut in the clinic and sent off to the laboratory for analyses. A detailed report regarding the findings of the hair sample are then received and we can then discuss how best to rectify any imbalances.

Tongue

Assessing the size, colour, texture and coating of the tongue is a technique that has been used by medical professionals of Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of years. Tongue assessment will assist in confirming a diagnosis and provide indicators of a person’s overall harmony or disharmony. The normal tongue in Traditional Chinese Medicine has a light red or pinkish body with a thin white coating.

Nail Analysis

As early as 400 B.C.E., Hippocrates taught that nails reflect the condition of the inner body. Abnormalities of the nails can often provide early clues to common medical problems or severe systemic diseases.

Iridology

With the use of a magnifying glass and light, we can assess the iris or coloured part of the eye. The iris reflects information about the physical and psychological makeup of the individual. It identifies the presence of tissue inflammation in the body and where it is located, inherited dispositions, risks associated with areas or organ systems and any potential future challenges. Iridology provides a diagnostic tool that enables the analysis of the whole person.

Food allergy analysis

By taking a small blood sample in the clinic, you can be tested for 46 food-specific IgG antibodies that may be contributing to your ill health. Necessary education and support to adjust your diet and lifestyle where required can then be provided to you for a better health.
